Dr. Judy Murphy-Jack said of her, “As a professor, was impressed how she was very attentive to absorbing the Word of God. She has a gift in teaching the Bible with wisdom. She puts the Word of God to work and livers the Word.”

Deacon Joseph Harris
Deacon Joseph Harris is a man, Black, husband, who works inside and outside the home. He is the protector of the family. He adores his wife and loves his children. Deacon Joseph can be trusted by people. He is a man of his word.
“That’s Right ~ That’s Right”
Deacon Joseph and Minister Janet Harris is a very special couple. Both are passionate about their love for the Lord God, each other and their children. They both have taught their children to become immersed in the Lord. Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Minister received her license to preach not too long ago. Her instructor, Bishop Rev. Dr. Judy Murphy-Jack said “As a professor, was impressed how she was very attentive to absorbing the Word of God. She has a gift in teaching the Bible with wisdom. I listened to her third sermon with great interest. I was amazed with the skill she demonstrated, tone of voice and the capability of matching her scriptures to each paragraph. Minister Janet, I believe in my heart, has the Holy Spirit within her. I do believe she puts the Word of God to work. I am saying she lives the Word.”
Bishop Jack continued, “She is a woman, Black, wife, worker in the home, outside the home, still she manages to do it all. With the support of her husband she brings to life the text in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. Even in the face of unkindness, Minister Janet does her best to be supportive with words of kindness. That is a very difficult skill to accomplish. But she has mastered it. Minister Janet speaks highly of her husband and children. I would recommend her to be a motivational speaker especially to women who maybe struggling with their marriage and children. Proverbs 31:10-11: “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life”.

An outstanding gift that Deacon Joseph possesses is a sternness (with love). With this he commands respect among younger and older men when a job has to be done in the secular and spiritual world.
The Deaconship position is very difficult and calls for a lot of responsibilities to the Pastor and the church family. He is ready. He is a man who is honest and faithful to his belief in the Almighty God. 1 Timothy 3:8-10: “Likewise must the deacons be grave, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre. Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office a deacon, being found blameless.”
He has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. It can be seen in his eyes when he discovers something new and gains greater understanding of the Word of God. Psalm 37:4: “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart”.
I Corinthians 13:4-6: “ Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh not evil. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth”.
This is the Strength of Love!!!
